Dairy Farm:
Musana is the process of implementing a dairy farm with up to 30 dairy cows and 20 dairy goats. We are purchasing 20 to 30 acres of land outside of Iganga for the project. The milk will be sold in town to generate income that will be used to sustain the home and school. In the future Musana plans to begin making yogurt and cheese, products that are rarely seen in the Iganga market and are on high demand.

Poultry Project:
In the near future Musana will be building a chicken coup on the current site of the home and school. The coup will accommodate up to 3,000 chickens, both broilers and layers. The meat and eggs will be sold in the local market for an income that will be used to sustain the home and school. Because the coup will be on the same site as the school, we will use it as a training site for children and community members to learn the ins and outs of poultry.
